Day 1
Arrival / Amman
Arrive to Amman Airport, meet and assist by our airport representative through customs and formalities. Transfer to Amman Hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 2
Madaba / Mt Nebo / Al-Mukhayyat / Um Rassas / Shobak / Petra
Via kings road to visit the Mosaic city of Madaba; where the oldest map of the Holy Land exists on the floor of Saint Georges Church. The city itself features many famous mosaics that exist in public and private buildings. And then continue to visit Mt. Nebo; the alleged burial site of Moses overlooking the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea. Here Franciscans have built a structure that protects a 4th and 6th Century Byzantine church, continue to visit Khirbet Al-Mukhayyat; mentioned in the bible as well as on the Mesha Stele, where a church dedicated to the Saints Lot and Procopius decorated with a rich carpet of mosaics was built by the villagers during the middle of the sixth century. Heading to The centerpiece of Um Al Rassas; the church of St. Stephen, which features a detailed mosaic floor depicting major cities of the region in ancient times including Jerusalem, Nablus, Gaza, Kerak and Philadelphia (Amman) which will now be presented through a protective shelter and suspended pathways. Proceed to visit Shobak Castle; built in 1115, it was the first of many fortifications built beyond the Jordan by King Baldwin I of Jerusalem to guard the road from Egypt to Damascus. It successfully resisted a number of sieges until it fell to Saladin's troops in 1189. Dinner and overnight at Petra Hotel.

Day 3
Petra
Full day visit of Petra; a city carved into the rose-red Sharah Mountains by the Nabateans and lost to Civilization until re-discovered by the Swiss Burkhardt. Walk through the Siq, a narrow and winding fissure between the cliffs, to reach the Treasury, the Roman Theater, the Courts, Qasr Bint Pharaoun, Temple of the Winged Lion and other monuments. Dinner and overnight at Petra Hotel.

Day 4
Little Petra / Wadi Rum
Fifteen minutes drive from Petra to Little Petra and Beidah; walk through 8,000 year old excavated stone age village sat Beidah and Basta, wander among the ruins of settlements of the biblical Edomites, to explore the sprawling remains of the Roman legionary fortress at Udruh, Continue to Wadi Rum; the desert and its awesome moon-like landscape, where the film Lawrence of Arabia was shot, the Jeeps will be ready to start a 3 hours tour in 4x4 vehicles. Dinner and overnight at Camp in Wadi Rum.

Day 5
Bethany / Dead Sea/ Amman
Via Araba road to visit Bethany; the site of John the Baptist's settlement at Bethany Beyond the Jordan, where Jesus was baptized, has long been known from the Bible (John 1:28 and 10:40) and from the Byzantine and medieval texts. Proceed to Dead Sea; with its year-round sunny skies and dry air, located in the Jordan Rift Valley, about 422 meters below sea level, one of the world's saltiest bodies of water, where it falls sort of accommodating any life, due to the extremely high content of salts. Leisurely afternoon for swimming at Dead Sea Spa Hotel (Entrance Fees ONLY). Dinner and overnight at Amman Hotel.

Depature
Transfer from Amman Hotel to Amman Airport for departure, with the assistance of our airport representatives through customs and formalities
